    Hello Mark,

Thank you for implementing your technology enhancements so far including:

Led the adoption of technology that has significantly reduced paper usage and costs in our council.

Partner with South Bay Cities Council of Governments to establish fiber optic cable systems, enhancing our city’s infrastructure for traffic control.

Addressing the Digital Divide by spearheading our parks’ Wi-Fi and computer lab projects.

Supporting policies aimed at improving our community’s recreation facilities.

Since you’re running for city council again, I’d like to ask you about your thoughts about implementing municipal WiFi for the city of Gardena. In order for Gardena to be a world-class city in the age of information, the Internet is as important as water or electricity in our homes. I live on 129th St near Western and I’m not in the few random blocks in Gardena that have fiber optic Internet from AT&T and thus, the remaining residents of Gardena only have one choice for Internet, Spectrum.

I’d like to gauge your interest in starting a multi-year project to implement municipal Internet like Culver Connect in Culver City or ONE (Optical Network Enterprise) Burbank in Burbank, etc. As an example of the businesses in Burbank that use such services, Disney, ABC, Warner, KCET, Yahoo!, etc. I’m not saying that Gardena is going to attract such businesses to Gardena but with more and more people working from home and/or families with kids doing schoolwork in the cloud, it’s more needed than ever for residential.

Having said that, incumbent ISP’s have been known to sue cities into not competing with them but more choice for the community will benefit all in the community. What I’m saying is that taking on a project like this for the city is not easy as certain big companies have an interest in keeping the city in the dark ages. I’d be more than happy to assist anyone that I do vote for and get elected to take on this project with some spare volunteer hours (I work in IT services).

I’m so glad you exist. I hope you live long and prosper,

    Alan K. Chan (he/him)

In addition to well-established methods for enhancing our mental well-being, such as ensuring sufficient sleep and engaging with a therapist, are there any other options worth considering?

We are excited about the prospect of researching and putting together an article on this subject for your website. We intend to provide insights and details on innovative approaches to bolstering mental health, including activities like volunteering and participating in clinical trials, among others.

If we send you the article, would you be willing to publish it on your website?

    Warm regards,

    Dorothy Watson & Jill Palmer

P.S. Interested in an article, just not on the topic we suggested? No problem! Just respond to let us know and we can come up with something else. Or, if you’re not interested in an article at all, just let us know.

Economic downturns can be challenging for business owners, but getting creative with their web presence can give them the competitive edge they need to thrive…even in uncertain times like these.

Great website improvements have an excellent return on investment; they may attract more customers, increase sales and improve satisfaction – important boosts in a time of economic uncertainty.

I’d love to write about this in an article for your website. Would you be interested in posting it? The piece would cover website enhancements business owners can make to encourage growth, boost sales, and improve customer satisfaction in uncertain economic times.

Hope to hear back from you.

    All the best,

    Ian Garza

May I put together an article for your site? It’s free, and I can mention your site within the piece.

The article will aim to help small business owners get back on their feet as we continue to try to recover from the pandemic. I’ll mention types of upgrades, whether via technology (e.g., digital marketing strategies, app development, website upgrades, new purchase options, etc.) or physical changes to their business, as well as what they can DIY and what they need to outsource.

Please respond if you’d like me to send the finished piece over to you.

    Thank you,

    Julie Morris
