I need you to pass this information on to the neighbors regarding the above topic.  We coordinated with Assemblywoman Autumn Burke and our City of Gardena staff to ensure that Gardena participates in this activity.  Please read below:

In response to a request, this ruling allows residents and interested parties in Gardena to provide public comments regarding the water quality issues in the City of Gardena.  The date, time and location are as follows:  


September 14, 2015

10 am to 11 am

City Council Chamber

1700 W 162nd Street

Gardena, California 90247


The above location shall be connected via telephone to the assigned Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) in Hearing Room A at the California Public Utilities Commission, at the date and time provided above.  Residents and interested parties shall be allowed to provide comments to the assigned ALJ via telephone.  Parties who are present either at the Gardena location or at Hearing Room A, will be allowed to make brief opening remarks solely regarding the water quality issues in the City of Gardena. 


The City of Gardena is authorized to provide notice regarding the public comments described above.  Golden State Water Company is also directed to provide a simple date, time and place notice on their website.  


In connection with the above, the start time of the evidentiary hearing in A.14-07-006 on September 14, 2015, is moved from 10 am to 11 am.  Additionally, for the evidentiary hearings on September 14 and 15, 2015, a telephone line shall be included in the hearing room and persons present at the Gardena location listed above, shall be allowed to listen to the evidentiary hearings on a listen-only mode.
